ABOUT ME

in a word: i am an artist, musician, freegan, marxist, i fancy myself something of a storyteller and an armchair philosopher... i enjoy company, whether it be for dumpster diving, cooking, art making, playing music or traveling. i just quit my hotel job of six years to become a train-hopping hobo, best decision of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

i fancy myself somewhat of a social anarchist. i have strong feelings toward power relationships, and do my best to not perpetuate an attitude of subjugation. i like people in general (in small quantities). i believe individuality to be a myth, and we can all improve our quality of existence by helping others to improve their own.

i actually just joined this community recently, and have hosted a couple of passers through 9though not through this site), i originally thought i would have a secure living arrangement for a while when i signed up and i was very eager to host... but i just quit my job to go on tour with my band (up to folklife seattle, and various venues in the pacific nw) and i don't want to go back to civilization just yet, so i am seeing america (or at least as much of it as i can!)
