About Me

I am travelling from Brisbane to Cairns from the 14th of January to the 13th of February and I am planning to do some couch surfing on the way since I miss these very good experiences that I have had so far :) Last time I couch surfed was during my exchange in Malaysia fall 2014 where I spent a weekend in Kuala Lumpur and it was great. This year I am travelling a month before studying a semester at Monash University in Melbourne.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Paris and Chamonix! Chamonix was amazing where we stayed with a really cool guy who took us on a great hike in the mountains! We also stayed in Cassis at an amazing wine yard where they hosted a big party in the garden. I also had a great cs experience in Juan Les Pins staying with sweet Spanish guy! Finally a very polite and sweet Malaysian guy made my stay in Kuala Lumpur! Got to love couchsurfing, the people you meet and the experience that you get :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying with a local family in Honduras for three months learning to speak Spanish because I had to if I wanted to communicate! Skydiving in Venezuela where I also climbed Roraima! Skiing in Colorado for 5 weeks! Driving around West USA for another 5 weeks (and New York, I love NY)!
Interrailing in Europe!
One semester studying on Borneo accompanied by some great traveling around Southeast Asia (Bali, Lombok, Gili Islands, Penang, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur, Northern Thailand and of course BORNEO!)
Climbing Rinjani vulcano on Lombok is an experience I would definitely recommend if you pass that small island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to spend time going out to eat or whatever social activity you'll like :) I feel like meeting locals instead of only international backpackers! Hope you are up for hanging out, but at the same time I do not mind being by my own as well if you are busy.
