I grew up in Kolkata, India and then I travelled across several places in India for my education. After completing my bachelors and masters in chemical engineering, I have arrived at the United States of America for my PhD at Penn state. I currently reside in state college, Pennsylvania. I love hiking, exploring new places, meeting new people and understanding different cultures and religions.
I like to watch sunsets at pretty mountains and drink wine on a Sunday.
I also like to cook, so I can cook some good Indian food.

I love different genres of music.I love good music no matter which genre it is.
I do not watch much movies nowadays. When I watch it, most of the time it is comedy or a thriller or horror movie.

I took a bath in a frozen lake in Pennsylvania by breaking the ice surface and going inside.
Other experiences would include deep sea diving, para sailing which I did in Florida. These are amazing for me because I have never done them before and it was special.
