To give rest and recooperation to weary travelers. We live in a forest on top of a mountain. Close to Melbourne city walks within walking distance. Shared information and stories between fellow C/Ss.

ABOUT ME

I am a mum of three amazing men and a young woman. All in their 20s. They have been bought up as travellers like their mum. Eyes wide open. They like myself, love people, places and experiences, all having travelled far and wide. Our main family values are to share with others and respect others. They come home to couch surf. .This works for all of us. I love home. where I grew up, Ive been away 28 yrs. I have plans to host, surf and study. We have a puppy and another one coming soon. We doggy share between us all. This works so works so well for our family and our shared pets who we adore. Lots of dog walks and talks witg the locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed as many of us did before it had a name. I've surfed in New Zealand and the U.K. From meeting strangers offering me a place to rest a few days and leaving firm friends. Refresh and renewed. My brother and two friends couched surfed with us in London. 3 months in sleeping bags on the floor in our front room.

兴趣

I love to read and study, op shopping for books mainly to share with fellow travelers. I try to pick the best up books to share. The foret is my retreat. Whatever the weather. Walks and talks or just being with a new friend or old one.

I learnt to love all music from my dancing years. Music can take you away. Movies that cover other cultures, values and can tell a good story. Books, mainly whatever turns up at the op shop that takes my interest, from travel, health, natural therapies. I collect interesting novels to share. Book shops, I love.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was 17 yrs old, travelling with a friend around Asia. I asked to see the front of the plane we were in. The captain invited me to land with them in Hong Kong. Incredible. When flying into Perth at the end of our trip I received a note from the captain to see the front of the plane. From there I landed in Perth. That taught me so much. People love to be generous. Wohoo.

I love to teach from past experiences, From what my family have taught me that led me to the value of books. I am open to new ideas, to learning from others life stories.
Sharing is where our family is at. All this I love.

I feel very blessed with my home. surroundings and a great bunch of kids that all live close by. All in.their 20s. We have a lot of fun together. Public transport shops pubs news agents coffee shops and great forest walks/tramping are on tge door step. (close by). We all love a good chat and we are all very well travelled so love love love to meet other travellers.
