About Me

CURRENT MISSION

is to find a mission.

ABOUT ME

Ok first of all let me say this - I hate writing these '100 words intro to yourself' thingies. For several reasons. I feel very self conscious and a little bit like 'what have I done with my life?' :p
I am "jack of all trades, master of some(?)"
I love playing and kicking a** at chess.
A little bit of drums and guitars.
I am a freelance photographer/cinematographer by profession. You can check out my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/devashin?feature=watch
and my Behance profile at :https://www.behance.net/debashishkumar
Left leaning liberal, feminist, professional right-wing hater, anti-natalist, environmentally conscious, skeptic.

PHILOSOPHY

"Why do I live my life?" I would love to live Brad Pitt's life if possible, but since I was given this one, I struggle and strive :)

Another philosophy I have is, one should at least read someone's profile before requesting to stay with them. Make a reference to similar interests we may share, or anything just to prove that one is interested in more than just the free couch. That's basically my criteria for accepting or rejecting requests. If you send in a blank request, I will straight away reject it; you can chalk it down to whatever. If you read this bit, include the word 'phoenix' in your request.

Rant over.

Two IMPORTANT disclaimers:
the apartment is in Gurgaon Sector 111, it's called Capital Gateway. You can look it up on Google maps. It's not exactly Delhi. But within 40 minutes one can reach the heart of Delhi through the express train. The good thing is that the train also stops at the international airport so commute there is very convenient.

Also the guest room doesn't have a proper bed as we moved here recently so the mattresses are on the floor.

(Now if you DIDN'T read the whole profile, it's your loss, I can't keep giving disclaimers in every conversation :p)
