I work in Germany at the moment and am always up for an adventure. I like trying new things (for example last year I took a kitesurfing course and also did white water rafting for the first time), and love meeting and chatting to people from different countries and backgrounds. I love food (too much) and always like to try something new. I don't like offal or aubergines. So that leaves loads of stuff I DO like!

I like going out, socialising - could be dinner, or could just be a game of pool.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and meet people. I like to have people to stay and to share experiences.

Couchsurfing makes the world and its people more accessible to us all - it's fabulous.

I only couchsurf when I have time to engage with people and have no set agenda. If I have particular things to do, or am just passing through en route somewhere else, I will pay for a hotel or Airbnb.

Interests

I love all types of music, and always have music playing in my home.

I like to watch series - dramas, thrillers, comedies. Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, New Girl, Modern Family, etc.

Books I've liked - The Alchemist, Unbroken, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, The Universe Versus Alex Woods, The Secret.

I represented Scotland at an International Children's Friendship event in Gladsaxe, Denmark, when I was 11.

Teach, Learn, Share

Converse with those who want to improve their English. Learn a bit about other languages (I spoke Greek when I lived in Cyprus, but I've forgotten loads). I try with French when I am in France. Share travel stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cook a meal, English conversation/lessons, help with decorating perhaps.
