ABOUT ME

I never had much of a chance to travel when I was younger due to having children, but now that they've all left the house, and my job allows me to take vacations I'd like to see the world. My daughter lives in Vietnam, so I've visited her a few times and we've travelled together to Sri Lanka. My eldest son has been traveling South America and Europe for the last two years and during that time we've been to Colombia, Iceland, Greece and Turkey together. I hope to visit him in Germany for a road trip soon!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to host people since my three kids don't live at home and I have time to host.
I'd also like to couchsurf with my son from time to time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My son Francesco and I were hosted in Iceland and it was an amazing experience. I've also hosted a young girl from Germany and the experience was great. Recently I coach surfed in Berlin with a lovely young lady that was a wonderful host with wondrful room mates and then I traveled with my to Poland and we stayed with another generous host.

兴趣

I am very interested in people, I enjoy watching, listening and learning from others; I enjoy music, reading, nature, trying new things. I like hosting small parties with my friends. Good wine and great conversation, good food. I also enjoy my time alone. I like artsy stuff... painting, creating and designing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Vietnam is a beautiful country and traveling through the country with my daughter who lives there was amazing. Icelands landscape was truely breathtaking and traveling with my son made it more spectacular. Going to countries like Colombia and Sri Lanka were just as amazing in a totally different way. The question is " What is one amazing thing that you have seen or done in your lifetime?" I have seen many amazing and beautiful things in nature and some man made....but seeing my three children grow into the amazing people that they are, probably brings me the most smiles, joy and wonder!

I used to be a florist, so I can teach you how to arrange flowers in a pleasing way. As a fluent English speaker I can teach English too.

I'd like to share conversation over dinner or anything else. I'm a good cook.
