ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, outgoing Scot currently in the USA on route to South America!

I am very chatty and sociable and enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I am passionate about education and enjoy hearing about how the education system works in different places. I love music, it can change my mood instantly. I am up for listening to old classics to new and obscure bands I have never heard of, if it makes me tick, i'll listen! I love art, especially street art. I am very interested in history and love learning about the different places I am visiting. I consider myself to be laid-back and open minded but can perhaps be a little naive. However I am learning along the way! I like to play cards, play chess and read when I can. Trying new foods from different places is always exciting for me as I love food!

I'm always up for a drink and a party too :) of course!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed twice whilst travelling Europe...both fantastic experiences! Surfed in Australia too- another great experience! Surfed around Canada and the states July/August 2016 and having lots of incredible experiences! Need to get into hosting as soon as I'm home and settled in one place 😊

Traveling, socialising, trying new things, cycling, swimming,hiking, camping, drawing and painting to name but a few. I am interested in history and discovering places for what they truly are, instead of what you would see as a tourist. Couch surfing has been recommended as the best way to achieve this.

I love movies! Blow, Usual Suspects, The Notebook, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Brasco, School of Rock, Catch me if you can, Good Will hunting, Shutter Island, City of God and many more. I will watch just about anything but those are a few of my favourites!

Like I said before i am up for listening to anything. I love live music and will go to any kind of live concert at any time. I'm a bit of an indie chick so love bloc party, the strokes etc, kale bugg, black keys etc. I enjoy reggae if I am chilling or pop, chart, dance music if I am heading out to a club. Love some classic rock and roll too- big fan of the Beatles, AC/AC, Rolling Stones, led Zeppelin, Johnny cash etc

I like to read but find myself reading mainly study materials. I don't stick to a specific genre. I do enjoy Bukowski and Banks but i'l give anything a little go. Big Harry Potter buff! 🤓

Hmm this is a hard one- I will come back to it! I believe I have too much to learn and only a little to share and teach. If there is anything you believe you can learn from me or would like to know, just ask! Same goes for teaching, if there's something you would like to teach me- I will try it! So far i've been learning to juggle and skateboard which has been a lot of fun!
