About Me

CURRENT MISSION

no expectations...just enjoy what i happen upon!

ABOUT ME

I am currently on an "around the world" trip for 6 months. Just long enough to show me that I'm not sure I want to go back to 'normal' life...whatever that is.
I student taught last spring and can't wait to start teaching...once i decide where i want to commit 9 months of my life (tough choice.) I try to be active. Sometimes I run, sometimes I rock climb, sometimes I dance or do yoga. I love to read, and write and sometimes I try to destroy my liver by drowning it in alcohol.

PHILOSOPHY

Do the things that make you feel alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now: I'm a surfer and an advertiser for CS. :) I look forward to having a place where i can also host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a few times in different areas of the US...once in NZ

Interests

I love getting to know new people. I love coffee, dancing, and driving long distances alone. I love camping, partying, and laughing. I love coaching and am excited to teach high school English soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

EVERYTHING. Although I generally sleep through movies. Perfect nap time. Recent guilty pleasure: The Twilight Series by Stephanie Miller (i think..) never been much into fantasy, but i loved it. I like to read everything but enjoy a lot of creative nonfiction (memoirs and stuff).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man was pretty amazing. Vague I know...but it's amazing. ask me about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe some tumbling or stunting tips? (that is--depending on space and safety.) :)
