Overview
About Me
I am a therapist, soon to train as a CBT therapist and I have a background in Occupational Therapy and Psychology.
I have travelled all over the world - mostly volunteering / working / helping with small organisations / local communities / workaway / wwoofing / charities / NGOs / festivals. I have spent time on farms, eco-construction sites, yoga retreats, sauna gardens, refugee support work, play therapy, yoga and sports therapy, permaculture gardening, eco-therapy and more!
I love meeting new people and making new friends. I love hearing peoples stories and learning from the wisdom of others. I am a great listener.
I also love to cook vegetarian food, practice yoga, go hiking, cycling, drink coffee, play with animals, go swimming in rivers and lakes, being in nature, dancing, reading and making arts and crafts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I think the best way to learn is to listen to others and especially when visiting a different country to truly understand the culture I think it is important to get to know the people. I am sociable and find my energy from being with others. I also like to travel on a budget and do not like soulless hotels or community ruining air bnbs! So couchsurfing is a great way to have a deep, connected, wholesome, quality time away for less money and supporting local people.
