About Me
Hi! I'm Debora, nice to meet you :)
I’m 35, from Italy, and I have a degree in pedagogy, but in 2024, I went back to university to study what I’ve always been passionate about: psychology!
I first used Couchsurfing back in 2018, when I spent six months in England as an au pair. After that experience, I returned to Italy, and now I’ve got the chance to travel again!
A bit about me:
- I’m a minimalist and travel with just one backpack.
- I’m very clean, tidy, and respectful of others’ spaces.
- I’m used to traveling solo and I’m very independent, so I won’t be a bother — but if my host has time and feels like it, I’d LOVE to explore the city together!
- Fun fact: I was vegan for 13 years! I’m no longer vegan and I’ve never judged anyone for their food choices in any case.
- I love nature, silence, music, walking, and spontaneous conversations!
- I don’t smoke or drink alcohol
NEXT STOP: Lisbon September 2025!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy almost all types of music — especially live performances!
That said, I mostly prefer different styles of electronic music, and I also love singing :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016 I quit my job to travel and explore different places around the world :)
I visited Kenya, Thailand, Tenerife, India, Istanbul, and almost every region of Italy — from north to south.
2025: Lisbon
Before returning home, I spent two unforgettable months in a vegan valley in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rescued animals and chopping wood to cook. It was simple, raw, and beautiful!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m happy to share ideas, stories, and experiences!
I’m curious about how others live and think and I love discovering new perspectives and ways of life.
We could share walks, food, music, silence, beautiful views and stories of past adventures :)
Thinking about living in a van someday *-*
What I Can Share with Hosts
For about 3 years, I worked online doing livestreams and using social media professionally. I eventually quit because it was very stressful — and more recently I even deleted all my social apps. Since then, I’ve been rediscovering how much free time and peace there is away from endless scrolling :)
I’d be happy to share thoughts about that experience, or just enjoy real, screen-free time together — like a walk, a conversation, or a good meal! :D
