ABOUT ME

This is our family's profile.

We are Debbie and Stephan (both born in 1982) with our kids Timon (born in 2008) and Tamira (born in 2010).

Stephan is working on his PhD in Music Information Retrieval (and enjoys traveling to scientific conferences throughout the world) and Debbie is a stay-at-home-mom and freelance translator for English.

Apart from spending time together we enjoy doing various creative things. Stephan is playing the bass in a rock band (www.d-projekt.com) and Debbie loves everything that is colourful and catches the eye - that's why she sews, edits the snapshots she takes of our family and travels the world :-) We both read books about child raising and discuss those topics with each other and our friends.

Timon is a sensitive and very smart guy and likes to play with matchbox cars or Lego Duplo.

Tamira is emotionally stable and a funny girl who likes to play with her doll or move items of our apartment from one room to the other.

They play together and of course they also fight like brothers and sisters do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We came to couch surfing because a friend of ours recommended it to us as we were looking for a place to stay in Auckland for January 2013.
