I am travelling fulltime around the world in search of a new place to live someday..
My hometown Christchurch is not for me anymore after the earthquakes and losing most of my family there except my older daughter who has made a fresh start in Melbourne.
It's my turn to do the same....But it must be somewhere warmer!! :)
I am reconnecting with long lost friends and extended family along my journey overseas...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am travelling alone so it is a great way for me to meet local people and learn more about the area.
Ultimately I am in search of a new place to live so staying with someone local would really help me get a good insight into the community.
Also to make new friends and have a good time :)

Interests

Travelling...Especially foreign countries with history, culture and great beaches.
I love travelling by trains and boats. Road trips are my fave...Driving with good music and stopping for food and drinks along the way!
Renovating houses, old furniture and recreating old lamps. I had a shop once selling all kinds of art and eclectic things.
I love the water, be it in a kayak or swimming in it, I need to be by the sea.
LOVE, LOVE music, positive people, and chilli chocolate!! :-D
