I'm a young 61 years old, lived in the Chalke valley in Wiltshire for about four years, and in Wiltshire for over ten. Before that i moved around England a lot. I now live in the history rich town of Berkeley in Gloucestershire, with its castle and close to Wales and the cotswolds, with my jack russel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have grown up children, one of whom was travelling and no settled in Germany, and one living in Wiltshire but I am on my own now much of the time and want to travel and meet new people.

Interests

Cooking, gardening, reading, driving and motorsports.
I also enjoy visiting nature and heritage sites, looking at architecture and exploring new cities.
And love art, so galleries and exhibitions too.
My main loves are anything foodie.. and foraging and growing my own food, and learning different food related skills,

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't think I have favourites here... I have eclectic taste in music, and enjoy anything from classical to rock and much in-between.
I couldn't possibly choose a favourite book, I used to read all the time, but not so much now.

Created a good life, and a home and garden I am proud of, from past adversity and misfortune.

Cooking, foraging, wild food , and creating meals from little.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean and am generally quite domesticated so would be happy to help out around a home and also with children.
I enjoy company, so conversation also, and maybe to teach and learn new languages.
