I would consider myself as a happy, active, alternative and nature, food and music loving person with slightly 'hippie'ish traits. That being said, I am also a big fan of getting to know each other in person and not a big fan of this impersonal constant 'message' mentality. That's why I hope we will get to know each other better face to face.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, couchsurfing gives everyone the opportunity to meet people while traveling to places they are new to. Its a beautiful way of getting to know locals and other travelers, share memories and stories. And it is so much better than sleeping in a 14-bed hostel dorm!

Interests

In my free time I most often go climbing, bouldering is my favorite indoors, but as soon as I am outdoors a nice rock wall is too beautiful not to climb it.
In general I simply love being outside and try to spend time under a free sky as much as possible. Since I live in the Netherlands I am craving any bigger forest or hill and my holidays are packed with hiking and climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I actually listen to everything, as long as it's live. I do prefer Ska, Indie, Elektro-Funk, Down tempo and probably even more that I cannot think of at the moment. Sometimes some Tchaikovsky is not too bad either.

When it comes to movies there are way too many good ones. And it depends on the mood. Life of Pi, Avatar, Hauls moving castle (everything of Hayao Miyazaki), Pirates of the Caribbean, the first Harry Potters ect ect ect
