Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some Couchsurfing experience staying with people in the US, New Zealand and Australia.

I love staying with local people, getting to know them and seeing their hometown - makes an awesome change from hostels/hotels. The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me!

Interests

Love hiking, camping, National Trust homes, cats, reading, writing and dark beer

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling the world solo...

Moments within that would have to be:

- seeing a jaguar in the wild whilst in the Pantanal, Brazil
- trekking and hitch hiking around New Zealand by myself
- visiting Hobbiton. Maybe not a wonder, but a definite highlight for a LOTR fan

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn Spanish. I learnt a little in South America and it would be great to continue studying.

I would also really like to learn French.

I can teach English.
