I'm a fun loving and travel loving 64 year old woman in very fine health and giving myself a birthday trip to Spain . I have been to many countries and hope to visit many more. I always travel alone but love to meet up with fellow travelers.
I live in a 40 year old hippy commune in the Ozark mountains called East Wind Community. I am a finance manager, but my passion is gardening and I still do a lot of that too. In my community you can do a variety of jobs as you like. I call myself a traveler and not a tourist, and have always been the backpacker type. Am more interested in people and their culture and interests than sites and tours.Love festivals and local events, and hanging out having good times and good conversations with good people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been traveling on and off and in various countries since about 1978. I've always preferred hostels and such because I could meet and travel with folks more like myself, and ,as I usually travel alone, it is a fine way to meet fellow travelers. But I have heard such good things about couchsurfing I'm eager to give it a try. I enjoy and appreciate folks of all ages and backgrounds. Am flexible, tolerant and easy going and looking for otherd who are too.
