ABOUT ME

Hi..My name is Valentina. I was born in Lombok and currently living in Mataram, but my family root is javanese. I am just an ordinary Indonesian woman. Usually I don't talk much at the first met but once you knew me, I'll be talkative as you can't stop me. LOL. I like jokes and sometimes I do silly things to have fun. I have a lot of things to say but I'm not good at expressing those feelings. The reasons why I am here are to make friends as many as possible and to help people as much as I can. I believe in karma so I try to do the best I can. I love animals, especially cats.

On holidays, I like to go to peaceful places like beaches with my family or friends. Family and friends are everything in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First time I heard about CouchSurfing is from the internet. I read one article about traveling and I found CS interesting. I believe that CS is the way to connect the world and to open my mind about life. Since I joined CS, I had wonderful experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I joined CS, I have hosted and hang out with some CouchSurfers! I had wonderful moments with each of them. This is such a good community to live with, although there are also some naughty people around.

I am basically interested in anything..meeting new people, making friends, traveling, dancing, learning foreign language, watching movies, etc.

I don't do much readings but I like reading books about language learning, life and motivation thing, and some light novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First snorkeling at Gili Trawangan. It was scary but amazing experience! And finally saw a living turtle in Gili Meno! :)
Also, when I became solo traveler on my first Europe trip. I went abroad for the very first time and got so many experiences during that time.

Teach, Learn, Share

My parents come from Cilacap (Central Java) so I would be glad to share about Indonesian life, especially Javanese life. If you stay in my house, you would be able to learn Indonesian language, culture, and tradition (since my family strongly believe in Indonesian way of life)

I would also love to learn about other countries' culture, both language and ways of life. I think understanding other people's culture would create a better world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a place to stay, simple meals/snacks, coffee or tea, internet,. and if you need anything else, just let me know. My parents and I are open for any request ;)
