I'm a 29 year old artist from Amsterdam. Ik write songs and I sing them. And then there's a bunch of other things I do to pay the bills. Nothing illegal, don't worry. Things like I produce a podcast and I'm an actor in an escape room.

I'm turning 30 on October 24th and on the 23rd I'm embarking on a road trip through the deep South. Mostly because the time difference is 8 hours and this means I will be in my twenties for just a few hours longer. But also because I know it will be a hoooot. And a half. About eight or nine years ago I travelled through the US for almost a year. And I did lots and lots of couchsurfing. Most of my favorite memories include the people I met on this website. Hence why me, and my friend Sanneke who i'm travelling with, decided to try and surf some couches this time around as well. It's truly the best way to make friends and get to know a place. This doesn't mean if you decide to host is we expect to hang out with you constantly. A great bar recommendation is a less direct but still very effectibe way to build community.
