ABOUT ME

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I appreciate it. I'm here looking for opportunities to travel...to connect, to learn, to contribute.

I'm a thirty year old woman who is still very much in touch with her inner child. I enjoy using my imagination, playing, and adventuring! I have a deep love and respect for our planet and all living things.

I have worked in various fields and I've acquired many skill sets. I have chosen to step out of "the machine." My latest adventure was traveling nine months on the west coast helping to petition the government for changes.

I'm currently living/traveling in the Philippines and Taiwan at Buddhist temples studying. I am attempting to check out Hawaii on my way home....UPDATE: I will be without internet access for until Aug. 15th, so please don't think I'm ignoring you. I'll answer as soon as I can! :)

I'm working towards a better world. I still have much to learn. My life long dream is to build a free international school. Nothing would give me more pleasure than sharing the things I learn and love. I am a teacher, and I love children.

I just recently joined CS. I have not surfed or hosted as of yet.
I'm joining groups and trying to make some connections.
I'm looking for opportunities to travel, learn and help/volunteer.
I'm also looking for travel buddies with similar missions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done was living as an exchange student for a year in Paraiba, Brasil. I traveled all over the country and saw so many beautiful sights. The true beauty of this country, to me, is in it's people. They are truly happy people who know how to enjoy living life.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach/share:
-I speak English and Portuguese.
-I have a degree for teaching kindergarten-eighth grade, with a specialty of communication, arts, and literature.
-Experience caring for children 0-18.
-I make hula-hoops and can dance and do some tricks!
-Experience living abroad for a year as an exchange student...ask me anything!
-Experience in medical and hospitality industries. (Administrative Assistant)
