About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be out and about as much as possible during the short summer months of Washington!

ABOUT ME

I have been slowly making my way north up the west coast over the past few years, starting in San Diego and currently in Seattle.

My life in Seattle consists of detoxing from the UV rays I grew up with and spending most of time around food! I teach cooking and gardening classes at a couple elementary schools and when I'm not cooking in school I'm usually cooking with my housemates or going to potlucks. In the brief moments that none of these things are happening I'm likely on my bike.

PHILOSOPHY

Constantly changing at an uncontrollable rate. For the most part I can't take life very seriously nor myself but perhaps not in the way you think.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had two visitors stay with me thus far yet this wasn't done through the Couch Surfing network. After that experience I decided I should open up all the extra room in my room to those traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and have been hosted by a few people in various places around the U.S.

Interests

Obsessed with food! Love cooking but that love greatly pales in comparison to my love for eating. I also very much enjoy biking and hiking (though mostly because those activities make me hungry).

Music, Movies, and Books

Consistent favorite bands: Slowdive, Pavement, Galaxie 500, the Smiths, Wire, Joy Division, Stereolab...

I'm in a Vonnegut rut as far as books go. Though I just finished House of Leaves and might forever retire from reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moments that left me awestruck....hmm.....I got mugged once.
And I recently went to Macchu Picchu.

Countries I’ve Visited
