About Me
Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I just want to share a little about who I am and what matters to me—nothing fancy, just honesty and heart. I’m someone who finds beauty in simple things—a quiet morning, a good conversation, simple homemade food - like dal chawal or the way sunlight comes through the window. I’m thoughtful by nature and tend to reflect on life, not because I have all the answers, but because I believe growth comes from paying attention. I love to dance, even though I’m not a dancer. It’s not about skill—it’s about joy. When music plays, I sometimes just move, letting go for a moment. It feels like me.
My dad has always been a steady presence in my life, and I deeply value the bond we share.
Faith is also central to me. I grew up in the church, and it continues to shape my perspective. The Bible is important to me—not as a rulebook, but as a source of guidance and truth. I don’t always get it right. I stumble, I question, I learn. But I keep coming back, trying to live how God says is best, with purpose. I believe in God—not as an idea, but as a real, loving presence. To me, worship means honoring the Creator, not getting caught up in the noise of the world or chasing after things that don’t last. Life has its struggles, and relationships—whether with family, friends, or others—can be complicated. But I believe even in the hard times, there’s meaning. Challenges help us grow, if we let them.
I care about genuine connection—real talk, mutual respect, and listening with care. At the same time, I value my privacy and tend to open up slowly. I’m not closed off, but I believe some things are meant to be shared thoughtfully, not rushed. Just to be clear: I’m not using this space for dating or casual meetups. This is about hospitality, not romance.
If I ever invite someone to stay with me, it’s because I feel a sense of trust and alignment. I’d love for it to be a shared experience—where we both contribute. For example, if you’re staying, bringing food or ordering in would mean a lot. It’s not about obligation; it’s about thoughtfulness. My home isn’t a hotel, and I’m not here to serve. But I do believe in treating shared spaces with care—keeping things clean, being respectful, and leaving things better than we found them. I hope you feel the same.
I’m not actively looking for guests right now, but I’m open to hosting when it feels right—when the connection feels honest and meaningful. If you’re interested, I’d appreciate it if you included the word “ladakhi” in your message, along with a few sentences about why you’d like to stay and how you’d contribute during your visit. That small step helps me get to know your intentions. Above all, I hope any time we share—whether through a message, a conversation, or a stay—can be grounded in kindness, respect, and real human connection. Thanks again for reading. I appreciate you being here. 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the most memorable experiences come from the people we meet along the way. For me, this isn't just about finding a place to stay; it’s an opportunity to connect with others, learn from their stories, and see the world through a fresh pair of eyes. I approach life with curiosity and an open heart. My intention here is to foster a genuine connection, whether I'm hosting or being hosted—one built on mutual respect, shared ideas, and good conversation. To ensure we're on the same page, I want to be clear that I use this platform strictly for friendship and cultural exchange. I am not interested in dating or romantic encounters, and I ask that you respect this boundary. Let's keep our interactions positive and focused on what makes this community great. If you share a similar passion for learning, sharing, and connecting with the world, I would be delighted to hear from you.
Interests
I’m someone who finds great joy in exploring different cultures and learning about the rich tapestry of life around the world. There’s something deeply fulfilling about immersing myself in traditions, stories, and perspectives that differ from my own—it broadens my understanding of what it means to be human. Giving back to the society that has shaped me is also a big part of who I am. Whether it’s through small acts of kindness or contributing to something larger, I believe in nurturing the communities that have given me so much. I cherish meaningful connections and the idea of building lifelong friendships. For me, some of life’s most precious moments are the simple ones: watching a sunset paint the sky in warm hues, sitting by a river and listening to the gentle flow of water, or sharing a quiet laugh with friends over a cup of tea. These are the things that ground me. Creativity is another way I connect with the world. I love making planters—watching something grow from my own hands feels like a small act of magic. Stargazing is a favorite too, though Delhi’s skies don’t always cooperate! Both remind me to find wonder in the everyday. I’m drawn to learning about how the world works beyond the surface—geopolitics, the inner workings of security agencies, or the strategies behind secret operations. It’s like piecing together a puzzle of how people, power, and systems interact. Mostly, I believe life is about shared experiences. Whether it’s helping a friend carry a heavy load, celebrating their wins, or simply being there during tough times, I value the bonds we build through both joy and hardship. Let’s swap stories, learn from each other, and find the extraordinary in the ordinary. 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: When it comes to reading, the Bible is the one book that I hold most dear. It’s more than just stories to me; it’s a source of guidance and wisdom that I return to time and again.
Movies: I have a real soft spot for timeless, feel-good films. Movies like *Anne of Green Gables*, *Cool Runnings*, and *The Sound of Music* are some of my all-time favorites. I’m drawn to stories about resilience, joy, and the strength of the human spirit. Honestly, anything that leaves you feeling hopeful is a winner in my book.
Music: My taste in music is pretty eclectic and often changes with my mood or the season. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of genres, though I’ll admit country music has never been my thing. Lately, I’ve been really into the sets from Cercle—I love the unique blend of electronic music and breathtaking locations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It’s difficult to pick just one thing, because my life has been meaningful in ways that aren’t always visible on the surface. I didn’t grow up with everything, but I’ve learned to make the most of what I had. And in that journey—through the ups and downs—I’ve discovered so much beauty, strength, and grace. What stands out the most isn’t something I did, but something that’s been done in me. Surviving life’s toughest moments and still holding on to hope has been nothing short of a miracle. I’ve experienced the hand of Jesus on my life in a personal, undeniable way—not because of who I am or anything I’ve done, but because of who He is. God has called me to Himself gently, patiently, and faithfully. His grace met me right where I was—in my brokenness and questions—and still welcomed me. I didn’t earn it, and I never could. If God can accept someone like me, I believe He can accept anyone. That truth alone has changed the way I see everything. Through it all, I’ve held on to my sense of wonder—the child in me still hopes, still dreams, still believes in the good in people and the world. And my faith, shaped and sustained by the Bible, has guided me one step at a time. It continues to be my source of strength, grounding me in faith, hope, and love—even when the path isn’t clear. So, if there’s one amazing thing I’ve truly seen, it’s the quiet, powerful way God works in our lives—and how grace can turn even the hardest seasons into something meaningful.
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing I’m happy to teach is how to navigate life in Delhi—a city that’s bursting with energy, culture, and yes, a little chaos. Over time, I’ve picked up practical tips for thriving here: where to find the best street food (safely!), how to move around using the metro and buses like a local, ways to stay cool in the summer heat, and how to spot and steer clear of common scams. If you're curious about making the most of this city—its hidden gems and daily rhythms—I’d love to share what I’ve learned. I’m just as excited to learn from you—whether it’s about your hometown, your profession, a hobby you’re passionate about, or a skill you’ve mastered. Maybe you cook a special dish, know how to fix things, speak another language, or understand something fascinating about the world. I believe we all have something to teach and something to learn. Most of all, I value sharing—conversations, experiences, quiet moments, or even challenges. Real connection happens when we open up and exchange not just knowledge, but stories and kindness too. What’s something you would love to teach or share?
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I Can Offer
A Place to Sleep: A comfortable mattress and space to rest and recharge. It's simple but cozy.
Genuine Friendship: I offer warm conversations, shared stories, and a listening ear. I believe the best travel memories are often made through human connection.
Insights into Delhi (Upon Request): I've learned a lot about navigating this amazing city. I'm happy to share tips on transport, food, and culture, but only if you'd like my advice. I know everyone travels differently, and I don't want to intrude.
WiFi Access: So you can easily plan your adventures and stay connected.
Spiritual Encouragement (if you’re open) – Happy to discuss faith, but only if you’re curious—no pressure.
What I Can’t Offer
Meals – I can’t provide food, but since I’m hosting, I’d appreciate if you could arrange meals for both of us during your stay. The nearby mall has a food court, or you can order via Swiggy/Zomato.
Air Conditioning – Summers here get very hot and I don't have AC—please plan accordingly.
A Note on Shared Values
No alcohol (especially on first meetings). For safety, I don’t drink with men I don’t know well
Respect for personal space is important to me—let’s keep interactions comfortable for both of us.
Looking forward to cultural exchange and meaningful connections! 😊
(P.S. Include "ladakhi" in your request so I know you’ve read this!)
