I'm a software engineer. Other than programming, I read, write, and get into accidents on my bicycle. Just kidding----it's no accident: my bike is colluding to get me killed.

I'll be going to Russia in September----which is good since I regularly stay up until 3am; so perhaps I'll finally be able to go to sleep at a normal time. Unfortunately, I don't know any Russian or Cyrillic so I expect to get lost frequently----or perhaps I should bring a white board and markers and communicate via drawings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I justed wanted to see the touristy places from tour guides, I could do that easily----but I don't plan on it; I want to understand people and countries directly from locals themselves.
