I have an interest in forest ecology and plants. I work as a gardener in Sydney. I like making spoons and playing the piano and talking over beers. I grew up by the beach swimming and exploring, and always feel at home with a good swim.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people from all over the world where we can share stories and knowledge and hospitality. I find it humbling to be accepted into someones home who is willing to share their experiences and the quirks of the place they live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Over the past few years I have started to delve into many electronic genres of music. Ambient, dubstep and drum and bass. Also some prog rock, some contemporary classical. I'm more of a tv show watcher than film watcher, I like Treme, The Wire, Transparent. I read more non fiction than fiction, i like graphs and topographic maps and tables that tell me figures and rates.
