Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to Couchsurfing years ago but never used it due to a lack of courage and opportunity. Now that I'm writing for a living I have far more opportunity to travel, be it for events that I'm covering/speaking at or just for the joy of it. Either way, Couchsurfing will allow me to meet a wide variety of people that I never would otherwise, and hopefully to forge friendships and experience new cities/countries in a unique way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job, left my flat, got rid of most of my belongings and moved to Amsterdam. It didn't last long but while it did it felt pretty amazing.
