I am a traveller who hails from India. Within India I have travelled to most of the regions including the Mountains - Himachal Pradesh, manali to the beaches of South and Goa, to the mesmerizing forts of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The thing that inspires me the most about travelling is the new experience that it gives, which is invaluable, the locals that i get to meet and learn from, understand their perspective and culture, diving deeper into their traditions and philosophies and immersing myself in their shoes and experiencing it with them

At present, I am in Lyon, France for a semester Exchange, and one of my primary motivation for taking this opportunity was the fact that I will get to learn about various cultures of Europe and also get to travel differnet countries, meet new people and interact with them, getting to know about their traditions and way of thinking, and much more

For me, whenever things get hard in life, taking a short trip, even like a 1day trip to a place nearby can relax you and heal you, give you the rest and break that you need, which then allows you to bounce back with full energy and solve all your problems. Travel is like a therapy!

With travelling, being a couchsurfer also gives me a chance to indulge and learn about the local culture as well, getting to know more about their food, history, etc. And its always an interesting story when you get to sit around with a local and discuss life, the experience is invaluable
