I’m Deepak from India, an engineer at heart and a passionate traveler. Technology has been my profession for many years, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with several Fortune 500 companies in the tech industry.

Travel has always been an important part of my life. Before getting married, I spent a lot of time backpacking and exploring new places, cultures, and people. After marriage and with family responsibilities, travel naturally slowed down for a few years. While we could still travel as a family, it was different from the freedom and spontaneity of backpacking with the local connect. TBH, I have already travelled to Europe with my wife to 2 countries but that was not like now.

Hence In 2026, I decided to restart that passion and take a special journey across Europe. With my wife’s support (special Thanks to her), I adjusted my professional path to work remotely while traveling. My goal is to spend time exploring different places, meeting locals, and understanding cultures beyond typical tourism.

Why Germany in Europe? Because my current Engineering professional is connected to Germany.

What I enjoy:

I enjoy conversations about technology, travel stories, cultures, and food. I also love learning how people live in different parts of the world and sharing experiences from Indian perspective at the global stage as I call myself an historian (since my dad a historian)

When I travel, I prefer simple experiences walking around cities, discovering local food, nature, history, and meeting interesting people along the way.

As a Guest

I’m a respectful, clean, and easygoing guest. I don’t smoke/ drink but occasionally do social drinking like beer maybe once in a several years. I value other people’s space and always follow house rules and I always be mindful. I’m happy to share travel stories from my perspective, cook a simple Indian meal, or just have a friendly conversation if the host enjoys that.

To be honest, I never used CS so far as I always used to travel with my own accommodation like AirBnb and budget hostels. Since I am in Europe and I came to know there is a large CS community and the importance of it, I have now started using this.
