I am nature lover, thinker and traveller. When i dont think, I write. I am a journalist by profession. Quit non-veg food 8 years back and alchohol in 2010 (want to quit smoking too...will succeed someday). I have been to France, Germany, Japan and Swtizerland in the past. Would like to go Combodia, New Zealnad, Ireland and Holland, as soon as possible. I love my boss and the employer but want to quitttt...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have become a CS member just now and would travel to Switzerland shortly and try and meet some CS there. when I come back to India, based on my experience i will recommend it to friends through emails.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first couchsurfing exp was in Switzerland where another loving Indian Suleman Shah hosted me in Montreux. It was quite an experience since he stays in a village in Montreux called Sonzier. Even the train to this village does not stop at this village unless you inform the conductor beforehand that you have to get down at this village. I was fortunate to bump into Suleman on the train intself and then he took me home. He cooked food for me and introduced me to the Swiss ways of living (You have a bomb proof cave underneath every house, you have to wash clothes in the common washing machine of the building where you are staying, etc, etc). He was kind enough to be my guide in Sonzier and Montreux te entire day next day. All in all, a fantastic exp.
