Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the Einstein quote that goes something like this: "If mankind is to survive, we must seek to free ourselves from the prison of caring only for those who are closest to us." I am a resource for all sorts of things including stories, the science of coffee, and connecting you with things and people you never knew existed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been surfing couches for over ten years, the CS community is a great way to further my traveling endeavors and meet some amazing people along the way.

Interests

Exploring, photography, photojournalism, tall bikes, fire poi, power kites, ice skating, surfing, coffee & tea, longboarding, instrument making, pretty much anything that makes music, and leaning about everything under the sun...

I have extra ice skates if you stay with us in the winter!

Music, Movies, and Books

Genres mainly include edm, downtempo, alternative, samples and beats, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.

Too many movies to list but am always up for anything by Wes Anderson or Studio Ghibli!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started up a community house with about 12 people. Traveled Eastern and Western Europe by motorbike then via trains and hitch hiking from Greece to Scotland. Extended stays in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Bali Indonesia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Able and willing to teach you what I know about playing guitar, piano, sampling / beat making, accordion, mandolin, instrument making, power kites, fire poi, marketing & analysis, and affordable travel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you travel hacks, how to play most musical instruments, DJ, make visual art, or figure out how to fix or build almost anything.
