Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Deep-ika -part explorer, part story teller and amateur chef!
I’ve been calling Canada home for the past 6 years and collecting stories (and snacks) from every place in between. My life’s been a wild ride across countries, cultures, and cuisines and I love sharing the highs, the hilarity, and even the awkward moments that come with it all.
I’m someone who’ll happily wander at 4 am just to catch the first light, but I’m equally thrilled to sit on a rooftop and swap life stories like old friends. I’m curious about everything – people, places, how cities breathe when no one’s watching.
Why you should host me?
Because I bring more than just my backpack, I bring great energy, real stories from moving countries, and a warm vibe. I’m tidy, respectful, love a good laugh, and always leave people (and kitchens) better than I found them.
Oh, and if the stars align (aka if we’re both free), I’d love to cook you a comforting Indian meal. Nothing too fancy, just real food that warms your soul and maybe clears your sinuses.
If you’re into great convos, curious humans, and the kind of guest who might become a friend , I’m your gal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe the best parts of traveling aren’t the landmarks , they’re the people. Couchsurfing lets me see places through your eyes, connect with kind strangers-turned-friends, and share life beyond guidebooks and checklists. Also, I’ve realized my best memories usually involve late-night chats in unfamiliar kitchens with hosts and surfers.
