ABOUT ME

We are a young couple (28-year-olds) who love to travel, eat, run and be happy. Abbas is an assistant director, working with feature films (Miss Lovely, 10ml Love) and advertising. I am a development researcher, currently working with an NGO called Aangan that works with adolescent boys and girls from vulnerable, high risk communities and in institutions. We are friendly, accommodating and thrive on new experiences.

I love travelling, meeting new people and experiencing different kinds of realities, both for my work as a development researcher as well as personally. I also enjoy a quieter existence, spending time reading, cooking large meals for my friends and family, tending to my composter and watching films with my husband.

Cinema! Abbas lives and breathes cinema and enjoys conversations on the subject.
I could happily discuss development theory and projects for hours. My field research has taken me to places many urban Indians haven't had a chance to experience, which I'm glad to share.
