About Me

These sections are always hard to fill out, but I'll say that I'm passionate about storytelling, photography (http://www.davidfreifeldphotography.com/), new people, spontaneity, and adventure.

I spent all of 2102 living in Madrid and so now I have a lisp when I speak spanish.

I sing at karaoke, I dance if music is playing, and I always am willing to meet someone new and I try to make each day worth remembering. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have surfed with many people in Europe, and now I'm returning the favor by hosting travelers in Washington DC!

I spent weeks traveling solo through europe on trains and CSing in England, Denmark, Germany, France, and Spain.

To everyone I stayed with: Thank you all so much. You truly made the trip even more incredible, and gave me so many memories and stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO - this is a 550 mile / 860 km hike across the northern part of Spain. It was without a doubt the most beautiful and humbling thing I have ever done. It took me 7 weeks and each day on the trail was simply extraordinary.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to get certified in scubadiving. also, if I could go skydiving, that´d be great.
