My other half and I are looking for places to stay in Newquay this summer.
We have both been travelling for the past few months and are hoping to spend the rest of the summer in Newquay learning to surf, meeting new people and explore.
I am a 21 year old student studying Linguistics at UoE and my girlfriend is a 27 year old marketing director specialising in property. She is taking a sabbatical for the Summer.
We are a sociable couple looking to meet out going, like minded people who are up for laugh over summer.
We also live in a town about 45 minutes from central London (By train) and can offer a place to stay and a couple to socialise with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are couch surfing to meet interesting people, but lets face it who doesn't love free accommodation. We're fun but not wild and would be the perfect house guests, respectful and fun in equal measure.

Interests

Anything. Our favourite part of the last few months has been meeting new people who have introduced us to things we didn't realise we were interested in before. We really want to learn to surf! I horse ride and enjoy yoga and fitness, my girlfriend is so laid back - she's almost horizontal so she likes everything, although music festivals are up their with her favourite past time. We both want to learn a language and try out new things.

We love watching films and seeing new things, meeting new people and doing things we previously hadn't even thought of.

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy most music (cliche/worst reply when asked what music you like), but alternative/indie bands are our favourite. My girl friend is borderline obsessed with Kodaline, and I love the Arctic Monkeys, The Courteeners and The Kooks.
We have to admit we do enjoy Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
The girlfriend also enjoys making fun sounds, but she is quiet when asked.
When it comes to films, we"ll watch anything, I dislike horrors but will watch when put under pressure.

Reading is a passion of mine and I enjoy a lot of classics and well as a few trashy novels. My girlfriends favourite book is Before I to sleep, but she would like to say that the film was crap and should never have been shot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've both spent time outside of the UK, travelling around Australia, Bali and New Zealand. traveling has become an bit of a unexpected passion of ours.
Amazing things We've done? We have a pretty ridiculous story about the last year. But that can wait.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty good cook, we can both drive and we enjoy going out. I'm sure we could share a lot with our host, as well as a place to stay should anyone want to visit Essex.
