ABOUT ME

I'm currently working in Kenya in a rural town called Webuye. I teach at a school for the Deaf and LOVE it! I came to Kenya in October of 2012 and hope to extend my contract that ends in December 2014. I teach full time but have afternoons free as well as weekends! I love visitors, as I'm all alone out here!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just joined couch surfing after a friend told me about numerous great experiences hosting couch surfers. I only wish I had signed up earlier when I lived on the Coast! I'm looking forward to sharing my experience and home here in Webuye with those traveling through!

I'm fluent in Kenyan Sign Language and interact daily with the large Deaf community here in Webuye. If you're interested in learning some, this is the place to be!
