Overview
About Me
Well, writing about me doesn t come very naturally but here are some facts and figures.
I was on Couchsurfing a few years ago, hosted a lot of people and made a few very good friends. For a while i considered my mission complete but now i m at a place and time where i can host and travel again.
I'm a natural born traveller. I love walking in alleyways, side streets , getting to know how other people live, tasting strange foods (there' s a limit)and connecting with locals, travellers, tourists, seekers and finders. And although Cambodia is not everybody' s cup of tea (or glass of beer) i' ve managed to set up a cosy and interesting situation, which i can now share with fellow travellers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because there' s something infinitely intriguing about meeting people who travel. And because i believe that sharing one' s abode is the ultimate form of sharing. And because i look around me and see that the amount of things that a person can do without using money is becoming more and more limited and this sucks.
Interests
A bit of politics a bit of Philosophy, a lot of reading, music, movies, dance and movement. Also smoothie combinations, swimming pools, hammocks( preferably with a book), dimly lit places, stories from other lands and so on and so forth
Music, Movies, and Books
Book: Journey to the end of the night by Luis Ferdinand Celine.
Also Russian classics, science fiction of the golden era. Also Cormack mc Carthy and Bukowski. And others.
Music: Mostly electronic but also some non-electronic
Movies: I m not really into Hollywood and i very seldom follow box office recommendations. I like Asian Cinema and the Wayward Cloud stands very high on my list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
live my life the way i like.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes to all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my flat my experiences, stories, coffees, teas, music, movies, books, chocolate orange martinis.
I' m generally quite outgoing, but depending on my state of affairs i might not have enough time or energy to hang out with my hosts, so i d rather share my flat with someone who doesn't rely on me as the sole provider of information/entertainment.
