About Me

I'm currently a translator, but I've also worked as an English teacher and a journalist. Music is probably my greatest passion, and I'm an avid listener and a musician. I also really like food, and am a pretty competent cook. I like cycling, photography, and I also do Pilates to counteract my sedentary lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been lucky enough to be introduced to a place by a local plenty of times: Iceland, Ireland, Australia, Italy, the UK... and I think it's the best way to truly experience and learn about a place.

Interests

I enjoy listening to and making music, photography, writing, reading, watching good films, cooking, eating, cycling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It must be the general peace and calm at sunset on Christmas Eve, 1998. I was staying at my secondary school in Dingli, and as the sun set over the school's grounds I felt a sense of peace and awe which remains with me to this day. I was 11 at the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could probably teach you how to improve your pictures, how to play guitar (given enough time) and how to cook like me (ie not very well).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Language knowledge, recipes, guitar, photography, IT tips. I'm pretty handy.
