ABOUT ME

I grew up in France (in Paris, although my family comes from Brittany - a place that I really like) and I moved to the UK five years ago. I am currently in my second year PhD in philosophy (also looking at some music). Between my studies, I took a few (!) gap years to teach French and do some traveling.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started using CS a year and a half ago while in Jordan. Attending a CS meeting one of the best ways to meet people from all around the world - the day following this event, I was traveling across Jordan with a few couch surfers! Since then, I have been lucky in meeting fun, witty and curious people on CS. I have stayed in touch with a few of them who have become good friends.

Literature (Chekov, Dostoyevsky, Kundera, Lampedusa - there are so many!) and cinema (Visconti, Bergman, Marcel Carné). Drinking wine (quite fortunately -since I live in the North of England- I also like drinking beer) and cooking.
