About Me

In the lastest chapter of my life I find myself living in Puebla as a graduate student, online English teacher and......(drumroll) owner of a new bike tour company!

Unfortunately, I can't offer anyone a place to stay however if you ever want to grab coffee, eat some mole, or just explore the city let me know. I've been here for just over a year now and know my way around Puebla fairly well.

Be on the lookout for info on bike tours coming soon! I'll be needing foreign travelers or fluent English speaking Mexican travlerers to participate in pilot tours :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to learn about the culture and people of each place I visit by interacting with the local people. There are so many things that one would never know about a place they visit if they don't get to know the people that inhabit it.

While I'm home I want to have the opportunity to share culture and local gastronomy with others. So please contact me if you're coming through town and you can get to know the area on a deeper level.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite books and authors: almost anything by Michael Crichton but Jurassic Park is my all time favorite, anything by Sam Harris, Malcom Gladwell, 100 Years of Solitude, Mark Twain, The Autobiography of Malcom X, Charles Bukowski (as shameful as it is to admit), The Devil in the White City

Favorite Shows and Movies: The Red Violin, La Casa de Papel, Breaking Bad, Friends, Trailer Park Boys (feeling shameful to admit as well lol), The Last Dance, Trains Planes and Automobiles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Quilotoa Loop from Sigchos to the crater....in 2 days! 😱😨🤯 However, so rewarding!!🎊🎉😃

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy basically anything and everything outdoors. Whether that be hiking up the pyramid in cholula to enjoy the views while getting a workout, biking around town, or gorging myself at an outdoor café, I'm always down to be outside in the amazing climate that is Puebla🌞😎

I also like to cook; nothing extravagant, just basic healthy meals. T
he reason I say they're just basic healthy meals is because that's what I need to eat most of the time. I got psoriasis I'm my early 20's and doctors in America are bought out by big pharmaceutical companies and only care to push drugs down your throat in order to fill their pockets with money. Sorry for the rant and I know that's not ALL doctors. But with that being said, i research the effects of many of the immunosuppressive drugs that are used to counteract autoimmune diseases like psoriasis and eczema and they are horrible (e.g. cancer causing) so I decided to hell with that and started searching for alternative treatment with meant changing my diet.

Therefore, although I still like to indulge in delicious local cuisine I still have to adhere to a diet high in vegetables, fruits and other healthy non-processed foods most of the time.

NONETHELESS, don't let that us from devouring delicious local eats! I still cheat because life is just too short!!🎊😁🥞🧀🍔🍖🥓🌮🥘🍛🍦🍧🥮

What I Can Share with Hosts

As stated above I can cook and teach English but also I can help with cleaning, yard work, running errands, walking dogs, etc. Just let me know how I can be of service.
I promise I am anything but a lazy person and love to spend time with good people. It doesn't really matter what we're doing as long as it's good, healthy company.
