My last name is DE LA ROSA, and I use it as my first name, A.K.A., and artistic name too! I am 25 years old, I have a degree in social anthropology, with studies in the psychosocial area, and I have extensive experience in social and humanitarian volunteer work, ethnography, and fieldwork.
In addition, I am an artist in many areas, such as performance, dance, painting, tarot, family constellations, dowsing, and more.
All of this gives me a lot of love and passion for cultural experiences, sharing, and helping people.
I also have a strong connection to nature, gardening, and plants, as I am originally from the south of my country, where all of that is very important.
I consider myself a kind of cultural ambassador, as in all the cities and countries I have visited, I have brought my culture in a respectful way, and I have learned from the culture of other people; then I can take that to other territories and build global and international networks.
I am the youth leader for the Americas (the continent) for Amnesty International's Global Youth Collective, so my experience and work with international networks is very real and inspiring.
I have visited almost all of my country, Chile, as well as Argentina, Peru, Spain, the Basque Country, France, Italy, and Egypt. And soon, the Czech Republic and Turkey.
I have experience as a workshop leader with children, young people, and adults.
I want to visit Istanbul to get to know the people and their culture, contribute in my native Spanish or English, experience a family constellation there, take at least one Sufi dance class, and continue to be a cultural ambassador.
I love cooking, I'm very good in that, and I love the cats!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet local people in Istanbul! Because tourist spots are nice and all, but I want to get to know a little more beyond that, a little more real, more cultural. Meet people to talk to in English, learn some Turkish, and maybe do something together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling a lot in different continents <3, and to do volunteering work with people and kids. Also, I think is amazing when I can help someone trough tarot cards or channeling... It's amazing how sometimes I can remember other times or ages of the people, just for being there with them, reading them.
