About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans" - John Lennon

ABOUT ME

ENFP is what defines me! (this is from Myers Briggs Personality Test! I love personality tests)

As an ENFP, my primary mode of living is focused externally, where I take things via my intuition. My secondary mode is internal where I deal with things according to how I feel about them and how they fit into my personal value system.

I'm an enthusiastic and warm person, but I can be very shy at times and feel awkward. Just a small warning... when we first meet, I will probably be very awkward, but trust me that's not me at all! I think i just need a little push sometimes to get comfortable with someone new.

I definitely live in a world of possibilities and can become very passionate and excited about things. I see myself taking a lot of risks and love spontaneity. Just this weekend, when we went to the Almafi Coast, a couple of friends and I took a night swim in the Mediterranean Ocean after we found out we missed our bus. It was so worth it because, fireworks started to go off in over the mountains. "And in that moment, we were infinite." ps. I love to read contemporary literature.

I took an extra semester of college to study abroad in Italy and am learning to find out who I am before going back to work in the States!

PHILOSOPHY

"For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart." - Ecclesiastes 5:20

"How many moments in life could you look back to and think "That's when it all changed.."

“Don't you hate that? Uncomfortable silence. Why do we feel it's necessary to talk about bull in order to feel comfortable? That's when you know you've found somebody really special. When you can just shut the hell up for a minute and comfortably share a silence." - Pulp Fiction

" Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" - Philippians 4:6

"To be nobody but yourself- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." - E.E. Cummings

"Sometimes it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, or unsatisfied at barely getting by. But, that feeling is a lie and if you just hold on; just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find the way and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes, someone to help us hear the music in the world. To remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there, and that someone will find you."

"All lies and jest, still, a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest." - Simon and Garfunkel, The Boxer

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently a surfer in Europe. I would host people in Italy, but my program has such strict rules about overnight guests. My mom can't even stay in our dorm.

Teach, Learn, Share

hmm..I'm not that sure what I can teach people...maybe how to do your taxes if you are from the US! haha since I am studying accounting in California. But I love sharing about FOOD! what a wonderful concept, that everyone can enjoy food together!! (one of the reasons I studied in Italy, since food is such a great part of their culture).
