ABOUT ME

I am French from a small town in the Pyrenees, I moved to Britain 10 years ago. I live in Mancheste now with Clive, my husband. We had a quiet life there, enjoying every weekend to do something despite the rain. 6 years ago we made the decision to go traveling, we started saving the money and we gave up the job.
I am very close to nature and I don' like waste, polution... I am chatty and enjoy a good laugh with my friends. I love cycling, walking, eating chocolate and biscuits . I like going out but I also love stayng in and read.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We have been travelling for over 2 years now and we heard so many good things about couchsurfing that we thought: We must try it. We like for sure discovering in a country, its architecture, its landscape, its food... but what we love the most are the people. We noticed that the places where the locals weren't nice, were our least favorite places. So we do want to me you Guys, we want to get the real taste of your country and town.

Interessen

My biggest interest is travelling... so anything to do with discoverying a country, a county or a town... I am the girl for the job!
Also, we like hiking, I enjoy going back to my Pyrenees in France and climb some summits, but we also did nice walks in Britain and during our trip.
We love cycling, using the bike as transport and not just for fun. We go everywhere on the bike and it is a shame that we didn t do that trip on bicycle. We are active and spending a day whitout doing anything is wasted for us.
At home or when the weather is not great, I read (of course travel books and Agatha Christie's Poirot), or I can spend hours on the Internet looking for fun travel ideas.
I always try to find a new 'projet', it can be theme evening or making stuffs or gardening (I have a small plot for my vegetables). I like making stuffs, sometimes they are horrible but I like trying. Clive loves cooking... I hate it, but I love eating good food.
During the weekend, we try to discover something new in Manchester or around. We like assisting to local festivals. They are pretty fun.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am not a fan of cinema, I can not remember when was the last time, I went... I prefer reading. I love Agatha Chritie s book (don't laugh, POirot is really cool) and any travelling books.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

this trip is probbly the best thing that we have done. We left everything behind and went travelling.
