ABOUT ME

I love the idea of CS, and the all concept of collaborative consumption.
I've always loved travelling, backpacking, camping, hitchhiking. Hosting and meeting people. The best way to get to know and understand people is to live in their environment for a while, you get a treasure of information and feel more connected. People tend to find it easy to speak to me as I tend to be a natural good listener. I help out whenever I can.

I like to take part and doing things. Sharing and experiencing new things. Hiking, dancing, swimming, camping, anything outdoors, also reading, listening to music and going out. I try my best to have as little impact on my environment as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to participate and organised couchsurfing meetings.

I promote CS and other similar projects whenever I can and through my work, I believe this kind of exchange makes us more open minded and therefore better people at the end of our journeys.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time hosting was Vivien for 2 days who was going on a tour of France and ended up caring on doing a world tour...Since then I've only had good experiences. Before I discovered CS, I already used to host a lot of foreign students from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When hiking with a friend in the Alpes over to a refuge at night, with only the full bright moolignt for guide, it was magic, especially when we finally reached the refuge for the night !
- Experiencing waterbirth, one seriously amazing experience, almost mystical as it suddenly relieved all the pain and left me to enjoy the birth of my daughter. just beautiful.
- And I would add, midnight swimming in a Scottish lake in cold sept/oct...Great Freezing Crazy Invigorating Feeling !

I have been involved in several associations for the past 18 years, and my work focuses in reducing the ITC gap in society. So, adventurers, earth and animal loving, or any militants for human and social rights or ecology tend to be my kind of people.
