My name is DeMarcus, and I'm n American living in Paris, France for almost 5 years now. I played sports when I was younger, and through college on to professional level (American football), and decided to buy a camera out of the blue, just before moving to Paris in 2009 for my studies. Since then I've been traveling and photographing the world, and the beautiful people in it. I come from a very big family so it's always been important to me. I'm a pretty chill and relaxed person, but of course going out from time to time can't hurt! :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because it's something I've always taken part in, even before the inception of this website. I think it's the coolest way to see a place, and also to meet new people. Locals will always show the best places to hangout, eat and take photos, and I try to do the same when friends and friends of friends visit me in Paris. I think in such a fast-paced world where everyone is all about "self", this site is amazing to show that kind people still do exist in the world, and some of us really enjoy the idea of bringing a great trip to others who visit :)

Intereses

I'm really into sports and photography, as well as music. I learned the saxophone when I was younger and really want to learn the guitar now. I have always been into basketball and especially football (American), but since moving to Europe, I've really been getting into soccer more and more! I've been a fan of Paris Saint-Germain (naturally), but I like the sport in general so I just like to see a good match.

I also love photography, not only fashion (which is what I mostly shoot). I love traveling and seeing new places, and photographing those places to show them to my family and friends who don't have the opportunity to travel as I do

Algo increíble que he hecho

Coming from such a huge family where we weren't very "rich", the idea of even living in Paris and doing what I love, that's something amazing to me. I was flown to western Africa last year for a photo shoot, and that was just something I never even imagined I would ever do in my life!
