About Me

Hello everybody!

I joined couch surfing a long time ago and then didn't do it until 2015, but on my fiancée's profile. Fun fact, that couch surfing trip is when I decided to propose. Fun fact, I can no longer live in the same country as my fiancée and her family. Fun fact, that sucks.

I used to do a lot of things that were cool and fun and then I also did improv comedy which is neither. I love it but, let's be real, it sucks and I suck for doing it. Right now I work basically full-time at getting back to Canada, a country which has made it clear in no uncertain terms how little they want to do with me. Lot of work, lot of Skype to maintain a relationship.

I hope to one day have a cat and also be able to establish roots in a place for more than a year before having some tumultuous life-shattering event occur which forces me back into an itinerant lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am getting back on my own profile right now because I am moving from California to the Seattle area so that I am only a few hours by car away from her after being a two day drive from her for over a year. I came up to Vancouver to help her out some and now I am being threatened with expulsion without having a place to live in Seattle secured.

I am back on couch surfing so I can find a place to lay my head at night while I am technically homeless.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to teach story structure from Die Hard, MIGOS are better than the Beatles, and the best book of all-time is the Phantom Tollbooth because all I read now are depressing books about the histories of oppressed peoples.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started an award-winning comedy duo with one of my best friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's commiserate about the state of leftist politics in the United States and abroad. Or I can teach you about how basically every story is structured exactly the same way otherwise it's not a very good story. You could help me learn Hindi too that would be extremely dope.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A smile. A warm but gentle embrace. Food probably.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Japan, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In
