First of all, to whoever is reading this now, it’s nice to virtually meet you. My name is Demeter (it’s a Greek name) but you can call me Dee (cuz let’s admit that’s easier to say). And plus I get all embarrassed when I introduce myself xD . (Yes, I’m shy....at first). Anyway
I’ve been traveling around Europe with my family since I was about 15 and im now 18 so I’m on my own and I love it.
I’ve been working as an au pair for over a year now in different countries. I’ve even met a boy who is now my boyfriend while I was au pairing in London. It’s amazing to think of the people we would never meet if it weren’t for travel.
I am a really open minded person and will always listen to you even if I don’t agree with what you’re saying. I’m not the type of person who likes to argue with strangers about politics or anything under that topic because you most likely won’t agree with my views, although I’m fascinated with hearing other peoples views.
And you should know, if you have a pet I WILL, without a doubt get attached to it. No joke.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I don’t like going on trips without meeting the locals. I want to live the full experience and TripAdvisor/ Google/ Guidebooks will never equal a direct contact with a local. Plus meeting a stranger never disappointed me.
