I am traveling in Indonesia now for 3 months and maybe longer. During this stay i am going back to my roots, but also want to get to know the contemporary culture ✨ As a theatremaker i am doing research for my perfomance and storytelling about the relation between Indonesia en the Netherlands.

My grandmother, nenek, is from Java and left Indonesia at the same age i have now. I really want to get to know here motherland. My bed great- grandparents are from Java. I really wanting to explore the island and his history. In the footsteps of my ancestors. I am so very happy to meet local people and become friends🥰

Being an theatremaker, teacher and actress and based in Zwolle, working in the creative field and happy to make something creative together here too in Indonesia! I can teach you acting and making performances. But i am also looking for creative artist to work together with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to meet local people, get to know the culture of Indonesia and learn the language Bahasa. I am looking for people who can help me with that. But also looking for people how can help me with my research.
