ABOUT ME

I am currently a student studying pre-physical therapy. Personally I love volunteering and helping people. I feel so blessed with the life I have been given. I love to read interesting books, and am always looking for suggestions, although I lack the time sometimes when I am busy with school. I also love to listen to interesting music and am more than willing to give anything a chance. I am a very open minded person, and like to hear different points of view since it always helps me further question my beliefs. I am very optimistic, as well as fun loving(I love to dance).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently cannot host people due to my living situation, but have been hosted and cannot wait to be able to host others. I have had the best experience with meeting people who opened their homes up to me, and have come back with good friends. I am more than willing to show people around the city, although not being 21 yet, this slightly limits everything we can do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Europe recently with my cousin and couch surfed in Genoa, Italy as well as Lyon, France. Both times we were welcomed in with open arms. I tasted some of the best food in the world, okay maybe not in the world, but it was delicious. I loved feeling like I was getting the real experience of the country.

I currently participate in club water polo, as well as am preparing for a 150 mile bike ride for M.S.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very wide variety of tastes in books, movies and music. My dad used to rock me to sleep to Pink Floyd's animals, so of course I am a huge fan of Pink Floyd, as well as Led Zeppelin, Jimmi Hendrix, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, One Republic, Switchfoot, Relient K, Nirvana, the Beatles, All American Rejects, The Hush Sound, The Spill Canvas, and the list goes on and on. Books again have a large variety: A light In August(faulkner), Pride and Prejudice, Twilight(guilty pleasure), will think of more later.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say that going on mission trip is still one of the defining moments of my life. It set me on the path that I am currently on by showing me how amazing it feels to give back to others. Plus I met a bunch of people from my church and made a ton of great friends I still keep in contact with today. It also helped my first mission trip ever was to Puerto Rico, which was beautiful.
