Hi everyone.
I am Deni Aulia Gafie, currently living in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.
I grew up in Jakarta, pursued my bachelor degree in Malang, and have lived in Yogyakarta for work.
I am working at an INGO concerns on Disaster Risk Reduction and disability issue.

FYI, I haven't been nowhere. Three of my biggest dream is to do road trip across Sumatera, visit islands nearby Sulawesi like Togean, Takabonerate, Minahasa, and Lebengki, and set my footprints in Papua.
I love to travel all by myself because it's liberating and I can find my own peace, however, I do enjoy meeting new people while traveling. Sometimes, or many times, we will end up getting helped by good people and making new friends along the road, right?

I do enjoy spending my times at beaches, seeing local/indigenous people' activity, learning new cultures, watching sunset, and local food hunting.

Take me to the beaches and I will be the happiest man on earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply because I found it very interesting to meet new people from diverse background and culture. It's always fun to travel and learn new things from people we just met, like seeing the world from other point of view/perspectives.

I will gladly host people who visits Kupang IF I am available because sometimes my work requires me to travel.
And yes, I want to also 'meet the locals' when I travel to new places so I can have local guide to accompany me :)
