Hey everyone. My name is Denilson. I am a 22 years old student. I live in Salvador. I just got back from a student exchange in Ireland. I lived in Ireland for 1 year and half, in a city called Galway (also known as the cultural capital of Ireland).
During the period of my student exchange, I made great personal achievements. I visited places I've always wanted to visit in Europe. I visited Paris 7 times, so I had the opportunity to learn a bit of French. I could write a book here talking about my experience in Europe, but I won't.
I study Veterinary Medicine, so you can presume I love animals, but you won't find any puppies or cats here in my apartment, just because I cannot have none of those.
I am very open minded. I love to make new friends and know about different cultures and habits. I believe and I practice every single day, as much as possible, the mutual respect. I won't be tolerant with people who are: homophobic, racist, male chauvinist and so on. I respect your right of being old-fashioned, as long as you respect mine right of not being like you. [...]
By the way, just for the record: I'm gay (I put this here not to search only for LGBT people, but to avoid problems with homophobic people.)
I truly believe that we are in this world to help each other making new achievements, so for me, sharing apartments for free is a really good oportunity for people to help each other. I've been to many places in Europe, and I know that the most expensive parts of a trip are the expenses made with hotels and food. So I am glad to help you sharing my apartment with you, so you can save your money for whatever you rather spend it better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because, since when I got back from Europe, I've been missing the opportunity of meeting new people from different places in the world, and also I am afraid of my English skills fade away from my mind.
Last but not least, I like to help people, as I said before.

I love night clubs, bars, etc.
Salvador has a lot of beautiful beaches, and I love to swim once in a while.
There are plenty of places of Salvador that I still don't know, so would be my pleasure for me to go with you and discover this new local.
I also like to discover tastes of different typical dishes of the world, so you can feel free to cook something for us. I could also cook a typical Brazilian dish for you. But this is up to you guys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped into the cold Atlantic Ocean in the west coast of Ireland.
I did a student exchange I had the opportunity to visit many places I've always wanted to visit.
I made an Eurotrip with my family.
I learned how to cook on my own.
I made good friends from different nationalities
