I am currently backpacking for a few months around Europe to sightsee, figure out where I want to live, and make new friends!

Some background about me: I'm originally from Russia but have been living in the USA for the past 15 years - currently in Seattle. Most of my free time is spent hiking, backpacking, pottery, painting, travel, and fitness.

I really enjoy being surrounded by and exploring nature. Thats where I find my relaxation and happiness. During summer, I will usually volunteer with a local organization to build/repair trails in Washington!

In my professional life, I have a degree in physiology and philosophy that landed me in clinical cancer research work - but I will soon be starting medical school :D

While this likely applies to everyone in this community, I love traveling!! I recently discovered the gem of middle asia through Uzbekistan and now want to further explore that beautiful region.
